Everything Is Useful So Nothing Gets Thrown Away (2-small) Last week Egon took part in a group exhibition in Leuven. His contribution was entitled ‘Everything Is Useful So Nothing Gets Thrown Away’.

In this work he tried to examine the way that lines evoke form and reality, by producing abstract pictures inspired by the tradition of realistic paintings. Because of this painterly approach towards the general properties of a picture, they are stripped of the redundant reference to reality down to only a few baselines to determine the image.
